So how does the league work?
The league will be owned and operated by the organiser, the NKA as well as the participating teams.
- Matches will be held on one day, a Sunday with the possibility of practice on the Saturday (provided by the venue circuits).
- Matches would consist of both Sprint and Endurance races.
- The numbers of drivers in a team is 4 .

The entry fee was reconsidered and set at £99.00 per driver. (£396.00 per team)
- Race Format The format will be as follows.
- 0730 arrival and signing on
- 0800 briefing
- 0830 kart allocation
- 0900 -1000 Practice
- 1000 Heats start
o Heat 1 - race a,b,c,d
o Heat 2 - race a,b,c,d
o Heat 3 - race a,b,c,d
o Heat 4 - race a,b,c,d - 1400 Race of Champions - 5 lap qualifying 15 lap or 15 minute race
- 1420 Endurance racing 5 minute qualifying
- 1 or 1.5 hour race
- 5 minute qualifying
- 1 or 1.5 hour race
- 1720 finish
- 1800 presentation all teams to attend
- Points Points will be awarded at the end of each race based on the finishing position of each driver/team.
- At the end of each race, points will be awarded based on finishing position, one point for first etc.
- During the sprint race these points will be added together and the team with the least points at the end of the day will be the overall winner The overall score table will summary the scores of each team in ascending order. i.e. lowest points score will be first Results tables and prizes will be awarded for driver and team standings in both Sprint and Endurance as well as the overall Elite Karting League standings
Trophies Trophies will be awarded in both Sprint, Endurance and League Cups A cash prize will be awarded for each race, the value of which will be based on the number of entries with £25 added for each entry with a maximum fund of £1000.00 based on 40 teams
- A cash prize will be awarded for the Race of Champions Each Race of Champions winner will be entered into a Super Race at the end of the season
Achievements
Each driver will be given the opportunity to have a ‘Record of Achievement’. This will be a record of race starts, finishing positions, fastest laps and race wins.
Drivers will also have an opportunity to acquire cloth badges, which can be sewn to their race suits.
o Badges will be available for:-
25 race starts – Bronze badge
50 race starts – Silver badge
100 race starts – Gold Badge
